Good experience with making sushi in this cooking class. Chef Yamashita was good at showing how things are done. The prep work for the class was also spot on. Enjoyed the experience

We had a great experience attempting the art of sushi. 🙂 Everything was fresh and delicious. Chef Yamashita was attentive and knowledgeable. To take this event to the next step, it would be nice to: 1. Play Japanese music in the background 2. Have a “road map” for the evening 3. Have more visibility to follow along the chef’s steps - projection or a different set up 4. A take away, a souvenir -the bamboo rolling mat, the recipes with pictures or a few Japanese vocabulary words We can’t wait to practice making sushi with the kids this weekend. Thank you!

My dad and I had a great time making three different types of sushi. The instructor was cool and authentic and it's BYOB so you could really have a good time.

I had the incredible opportunity to take a class with Chef Hiroki, and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable culinary experiences of my life. Originally from Osaka, Japan, Chef Hiroki brings a depth of knowledge and a passion for Japanese cuisine that is evident in every lesson. His career, which spans various locations from Osaka to Atlanta, speaks to his expertise and dedication to his craft. Throughout the class, Chef Hiroki was not only informative but also personable and engaging, making the learning experience feel more like a shared journey than a typical cooking class. His years of experience, from training at the prestigious New Otani Hotel to teaching sushi classes at The Cook Station, truly shine in his teaching style. What I found especially special was his genuine love for sharing his knowledge of Japanese food. Whether it was a question about sushi or the intricacies of Japanese culinary traditions, he answered each one with patience, warmth, and a depth of understanding. Our connection throughout the class was something truly unique. Chef Hiroki’s kindness and passion for both the food and his students created an emotional bond that went beyond just learning how to make sushi—it was a truly transformative experience. I’m grateful for the insights he shared, and I will carry them with me for a lifetime. If you're looking for more than just a cooking class—if you're searching for a true connection to Japanese cuisine and culture—Chef Hiroki's classes are an absolute must.

It was very fun! nice location and chef. a really good amount of food for the price! The only recommendation i have is different types of sushi instead of them all being made the same way to switch it up a little :)
