What is CocuSocial?
CocuSocial is a marketplace for cooking classes connecting food lovers with local chefs and restaurants or hotels. You can choose from a variety of cuisines and learn to cook with professional chef instructors. After cooking your own dish, you’ll enjoy a shared meal and socialize with your classmates.
How do I book a cooking class?
1. Visit our  home  page, select a location and browse all the classes offered in your region.
2. Click a class to view details, select number of guests and click "Book now".
3. Fill out your contact information and click "Next".
4. Fill out your credit card information and click "Confirm".
5. All set! You should see a confirmation screen and get a confirmation email.
Is there an age limit?
Most of our experiences are for adults aged 21+ with some exceptions. Please check the specific class for age limit requirement.
Is the class BYOB?
Most of our experiences don't allow outside drinks but you can purchase drinks from the venue. Please check the specific class for details.
How long does a CocuSocial class last?
Our classes are typically around 2 hours long. Review your class description for specific details.
Do I need to bring a confirmation with me?
Nope! All you’ll need to do is give the ticket holder’s name to the chef instructor when you arrive. There’s no need to print your confirmation email.
Can you accommodate food allergies?
Dietary restrictions of each class are listed in the class detail page. You can search classes that fulfil a specific type of dietary restriction by clicking on the "refine search" section below the general search bar.
Will I eat the food after cooking?
Yes! That’s the best reward for all your efforts.
What is the change/cancellation policy?
Cancellation or reschedule request has to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. You can reschedule your class by clicking on the "view/change booking" button on the confirmation email. For cancellation, please contact us at hello@cocusocial.com in order to receive credits for booking a future class. Tickets are non-refundable.
While we try to be as flexible as possible, our classes take planning, require food to be ordered in advance and have limited seating. Therefore, we require an advanced notice of at least 48 hours.
However, you are always welcome to send someone in your place because we understand things could happen.
