Alyssa was delightful. I would have given 5 Stars but I thought the course was a little light on any actual tuition. It really only covered folding the store-bought wrappers which could really have been covered in about 15 minutes. I felt the time taken for the dumpling quiz and the “breaks” detracted from the value of the experience. Hopefully this review will be helpful.

My wife and I really enjoyed our dumplings lesson with Chef Alyssa. She was a truly engaging and knowledgeable teacher and we would love to do another class with her sometime.

Alyssa was AMAZING! What a great class, venue was so much fun and our chef mates were a hoot. Can’t recommend Alyssa’s class more! Next time in NC I will be looking for another class.

Chef Alyssa is fantastic! Her class was the perfect mix of educational, entertaining, and fun. We loved having her as our instructor, and we’re already looking forward to taking more classes with her! The dumpling trivia was such a fun and informative touch, and her personality and presentation are absolutely Cooking Network worthy! Someone needs to get this woman on TV! We’d love to learn some baking techniques and try our hand at more fun dishes we can make and share. Keep doing what you do, Alyssa! Your enthusiasm makes learning in the kitchen even more enjoyable, and we can’t wait to see what you teach us next!

We had such a great time at Chef Alyssa's dumpling class! From the moment we arrived, everything felt organized and welcoming. Having the veggies already chopped and the sauces already prepared ahead of time was such a nice touch because it allowed us to spend more of the class actually learning, cooking and enjoying the experience rather than getting caught up in the prep work. Chef Alyssa, truly made the night! She was incredible personable, engaging and fun. She also cultivated an atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable having fun and asking questions. It felt much more like cooking alongside someone who genuinely loves what they do than simply following along with a class. We left with a full stomach, new skills, new friends, and a really fun memory. It was the perfect balance of learning something new without taking itself too seriously. I would 100% recommend the dumpling class to anyone looking for a fun date night, an activity with friends, or just an excuse to eat some really good dumplings. We will definitely be back for another class soon!!!
