Chef Alex is a chef with a global perspective whose culinary journey began in Odesa, Ukraine, a vibrant city on the shores of the Black Sea. Growing up in a multicultural hub where diverse cuisines converged, Chef Alex developed a deep passion for cooking and an appreciation for global flavors.
For five years, Chef Alex worked as a chef aboard luxury cruise ships, honing culinary skills and immersing in the cuisines of over 80 countries during two around-the-world voyages. These experiences shaped Chef Alex’s approach to cooking, inspiring a blend of tradition and creativity to craft exceptional dishes.
In 2019, Chef Alex lived in Hong Kong, where the art of Asian cuisine became a focus. Collaborating with talented chefs at prestigious establishments like the Hyatt, Chef Alex deepened an understanding of culinary traditions, refined technical expertise, and strengthened a commitment to excellence.
In 2022, Chef Alex moved to Chicago, determined to channel a wealth of global culinary experience into a business that unites people over extraordinary meals. Co-founding the catering company “Le Chef House,” Alex now delivers unforgettable dining experiences for weddings, private events, and corporate gatherings. With menus inspired by global flavors, designed with creativity, and presented with elegance, Alex’s work exemplifies culinary artistry.
