There is not a position in the restaurant that Chef Alex has not held working 25 years in Japanese cuisine. From Chicago to Tokyo and back, everything from commercial tuna and seafood work to Izakaya and Teppanyaki has left its mark (usually visible) as Chef Alex continues to show everyone fun and stress free ways to be sociable AND learn something of Japanese food.

The best class ever taken! Amazing instructor, very easy to follow his directions. He kept the attention of the class while teaching, made it fun and was filled with great historical facts on sushi. Would highly recommend it!!

The class was nice. Pointers, could've been some music to set the tone while learning and engaging with your guest. Also, should have been on time. I was thrown off with other obligations. All in all an overall nice experience.
