Ed was a great instructor and the venue was really cool (Los Boy Cidery in Alexandria, VA). He made it fun and engaging. He also shared a few tips that we will remember next time and had a bit of info about the background of the ingredients. My suggestion would be to have a better set up regarding the working spaces and view of him. I would like to watch him do the steps along with me instead of having him attend to each station individually. It may be a personal preference there, but all in all I would highly recommend Ed's class!

Had a great time, and will be on the lookout for more events at Lost Boy Cider. The instructor was engaging and well-prepared. The distance between participants was definitely not six feet. There weren't enough supplies for all groups to participate at the same time, so we didn't finish until about 9:00p.m. I had expected to make the pasta and eat the finished product by 8:30p.m., but because we all shared the pasta rolling machines, it took a really long time to complete.

This was a really fun class and Ed was very knowledgeable and engaging! The only this is this is absolutely NOT worth the money. We didn't even get to individually make our own pasta - it was one bowl per pair, the ingredients were less than $5/person, and we didn't even make our own sauce (the instructor had pre-made some) or get a glass of wine or anything (hard cider was available for separate purchase). This class would have been great for like $15-20/person.... not $65. Also, don't come starving expecting a full meal - at the end you cook one serving of pasta to "taste" between the two of you. It was super tasty though and the sauce that Ed made was delicious. That being said though, it was still a really fun night and if you can just get out of your head how much you paid for it, it was a fantastic date night and something different to do.

The class was excellent. The teacher was great fun. Was able to get everyone engaged in learning and doing the tasks at hand. Made it fun and not boring, did not feel like school. I would definitely do more classes with him as the teacher.
