Chef Josh has been in the food service industry for over 10 years. He has a wide range of culinary expertise, with a concentration in Asian Fusion and Traditional Japanese cuisine. He has humble beginnings as a dishwasher and worked his way up to being Head Chef for Sekisui in Memphis, TN. Through those experiences, he’s cultivated a passion for food and loves sharing that passion with others.

Chef Josh was a great teacher! Definitely took the time to explain each part of the sushi making process and I appreciated that. He was open to answering questions and made it a fun experience!

Making the sushi was a lot of fun - a great date night idea! I wish the chef had maybe been a little better prepared. He seemed to be doing a lot of slicing & portioning that could have been done before the class began. We had to wait while he sliced ingredients or portioned out supplies between rolls. However, he was very knowledgeable and fun.

Chef Josh was amazing!!! He was incredibly instructive and I genuinely feel like I could go home and make a decent sushi roll! Would absolutely recommend to anyone!!

The chef was great and super kind! The ingredients were delicious! I think a different location would have been better and a smaller class size. I also think the chef needed an additional helper to pass things out and walk around.
