A veteran barkeep, Sarah LM Mengoni cut her teeth working in Michigan beer dives and
shot joints then moved to Chicago where she discovered and embraced the World of the Cocktail. Her enthusiasm for cocktail culture and gift for crafting unique recipes has earned her industry recognition, such as 50 Women to Watch in Hotel F&B magazine, as well as countless features in publications such as Imbibe, Food and Wine, Vogue, Forbes, GQ, and Time Out LA, to name a few. Sarah is a graduate of the distinguished BAR 5-DAY program in New York City, which stands as one of the industry’s top mixology certifications. Currently Sarah is teaching cocktail classes, working as a Bar and Beverage Consultant through and pedaling her book “Once Upon a Cocktail- West Hollywood”

Sarah was an incredible instructor, who in addition to sharing her amazing cocktail recipes shared a ton of tips, tricks and even some history behind the drinks as well. Not to mention she was warm, welcoming, and very encouraging. I would definitely recommend a class with Sarah, and look forward to joining her next events!

Chef Sarah was great and very knowledgeable! We had a great time learning how to make the drinks and getting to taste them as well. The Spicy Cucumber Margarita was the best margarita I've ever had! We will definitely book another class for Chef Sarah again.
