I really enjoyed this class and the recipes were delicious, very excited to try some of them at home! Chef Alvaro was a great instructor, kept the class fun and relaxed while also sharing his tips and tricks.. he definitely loves what he does and was excited to share it with all of us. Definitely recommend

Chef Alvaro was very passionate about teaching us, taught us some of the history and had clear instructions. The dishes were very very delicious!! 😋

Chef Alvaro was entertaining, knowledgeable, and efficient in conducting our class as we made dumplings last night. He and his helper had everything planned appropriately for the group including vegan/vegetarian options. He taught us basic knife skills, the prep process, and how to properly cook our dumplings to taste with options for frying and steaming. He was so prepared that he gave us plastic bags to bring home leftovers - very thoughtful! He is a fantastic teacher. The only improvement I would suggest would be for the hotel’s management (Hyatt Place Suites) to lower the volume of their lobby music so everyone enrolled in the class could hear Chef Alvaro as I suffer from hearing loss. Fail on Hyatt’s part here. Thanks for a great class, Chef Alvaro! Best, P and S

Chef Álvaro was amazing! He was a great teacher, kind, funny, and patient. Our class had some people that were not engaging but he handled it with class! 10/10 experience

Overall great experience! Chef Alvaro’s stories, directions and sense of humor made for a fun night along with a very tasty cerviche dinner we created ourselves! Looking forward to the next class…
