Chef Denis is a young pastry chef born and raised in the alps of Northern Italy. After graduating high school he decided to sign up to a Culinary pastry academy in Milan. After a couple of years of studying and training with world famous pastry chefs, he earned his degree as a pastry chef.
After Milan, he decided to move to Rome where he lived for almost 6 years. He worked as the head pastry chef for an Italian restaurant/bakery in the city center. He LOVED and enjoyed his roman years but always had the dream to move to New York. When he least expected it, luck surprised him and he got a job as Head Pastry Chef at Angelina, a famous Italian bakery in NYC. Aside from work, he loves sports, being in nature and animals.

Chef Denis’s Cannoli class was so good! It was my first baking class, and I brought my boyfriend as a Christmas gift. Chef Denis shared an engaging history of cannolis, the recipe was easy to follow, and we made four cannolis. I’d definitely do it again.

Amazing class. Chef Denis was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. We met some nice people and had a great deal of fun making cannolis. We highly recommend taking classes with this excellent pastry chef!

Chef Denis was superb! My husband and I truly enjoyed the experience and feel confident that we can take what we learned back to our kitchen and make cannolis on our own. Denis is a warm-hearted teacher and truly seemed to enjoy his work and the company of us students. Very easy space to work in and all steps were hands on - including the making of the dough for the shells - which is exactly what was needed. We’ll have to try his tiramisu course next!

I attended Denis' class with colleagues from work and we had a lovely time. The setup was clean and relaxing. Denis is patient, informative, and incredibly generous. We left home with a handful of cannolis and the recipe to take home. 10/10
