Chef Denis is a young pastry chef born and raised in the alps of Northern Italy.  After graduating high school he decided to sign up to a Culinary pastry academy in Milan. After a couple of years of studying and training with world famous pastry chefs, he earned his degree as a pastry chef.

After Milan, he decided to move to Rome where he lived for almost 6 years.  He worked as the head pastry chef for an Italian restaurant/bakery in the city center.  He LOVED and enjoyed his roman years but always had the dream to move to New York. When he least expected it, luck surprised him and he got a job as Head Pastry Chef at Angelina, a famous Italian bakery in NYC.  Aside from work, he loves sports, being in nature and animals.

Chef Denis was gracious, informative, and articulate, explaining the history of tiramisu, as well as the details of proper preparation in a most engaging manner....and the final product was scrumptious!

Chef Denis’s Cannoli class was so good! It was my first baking class, and I brought my boyfriend as a Christmas gift. Chef Denis shared an engaging history of cannolis, the recipe was easy to follow, and we made four cannolis. I’d definitely do it again.
