Tommaso was co-owner of the Italian restaurant TANTI BACI in NYC, before spending time in

Peru to learn about Amazonian produce and agricultural practice. It was in Peru that he started the tomato sauce brand DUE AMICI, which is still being sold in Lima today. After moving back to NYC, Tommaso opened PROPRIO COSI, a company that will serve “on the go” organic food, with ingredients from local farms and businesses. He’s also the producer of a bi-monthly literary podcast series based on award-winning short stories and novels.

Chef was absolutely wonderful. We came to celebrate a birthday with a group of girls and had an amazing experience! Chef was so sweet and helpful throughout the entire cooking class. The ravioli was delicious we highly recommend!!

It was a great experience! Although we fell behind a bit but Chef was so nice hands on. He did demonstrations at everyone’s table. Chef Tomasso gave us his bio. And he was informative on the recipes and how make sauce as well . It’s not a note taking process it’s cool the class was small & intimate. Worth the money spent. In comparison to other classes. I am glad we did it as a bonding & learning experience. Not sure if I’ll be making my own pasta anytime soon. But give it a shot!

Chef Tommaso was great! He explained everything step by step, walked around to help if needed and was a really nice guy! We enjoyed our class and will be back for more classes with chef Tommaso.
