Chef Jayme is a private chef and culinary instructor with more than a decade of experience in professional kitchens, specializing in Seafood and Japanese cuisine with an emphasis on seafood technique, knife skills, and clear, confidence-building instruction. He is recognized as a top izakaya by Bon Appetit. In addition to restaurant work, Jayme has supported World Central Kitchen, contributing to large-scale meal preparation and food distribution efforts across the U.S. and around the globe through WCK’s disaster-response operations.

As a side note- he may or may not have briefly stepped foot in a Michelin-starred kitchen or two—and, in a plot twist no one asked for, is also a practicing lawyer. His approach to teaching is practical, organized, and technique-driven, focused on helping students cook with confidence and respect for ingredients.

He was great. Why above and beyond to make us feel like we were getting special treatment. I wanted to tip him and he said we should get a link via email. I hope that will come through He was also thinking we should get copies of the recipes emailed to us. I hope that's the case!
