Devin has been a sushi chef for 16 years, with most of her training based in Seattle and the rest developed in Portland, Oregon, where she now lives. She’s worked in a number of well-known kitchens across Portland and brings a deep, hands-on knowledge of sushi to each lesson. Through teaching private classes, she’s found a real love for connecting with people through food and sharing what she’s learned along the way.

This was a really fun time. My and I have been trying to things we have never done before and this was one of the classes we chose. Devin was a great instructor and entertaining. Plus if you love Sushi you get too eat what you make. The time flew by. Highly recommend this experience.

We had a really excellent experience. The class was held in a really nice location downtown with easy parking and a great bar. Devin expanded our knowledge base as well as gave us confidence to follow-up at home. This class works really well for people with no prior or only limited experience as well as those in our group with lots of experience in the kitchen. Thank you, Chef Devin.

This class was excellent. Chef Devin made sushi making accessible to even the least experienced of us, and my family and I had a blast learning and, well, eating our work. I'd highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants an intro to sushi. I've been eating sushi for decades and this class made me a more knowledgeable eater. Loved it!
