Jami began their culinary journey with classical French training at Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, CA, which laid a strong foundation for a dynamic career in the Pacific Northwest.

After relocating to Seattle, Chef Jami worked alongside some of the city’s most acclaimed and respected chefs, honing skills across a wide range of cuisines and kitchen environments. Known for a thoughtful, technique-driven approach and a love of seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients, Chef Jami developed a reputation for both creativity and precision in the kitchen.

In the past five years, Chef Jami has shifted focus from restaurant kitchens to culinary education—sharing years of industry knowledge with aspiring chefs and home cooks alike. Whether teaching foundational knife skills or advanced cooking techniques, Chef Jami is committed to empowering students with confidence, skill, and a true appreciation for the culinary arts.

Chef Jami was so knowledgeable and personable! She was a great teacher and took time to answer all questions and detailed everything during the demonstration. The whole class was so much fun! She was so funny and kind and gave everyone encouragement and help throughout the whole process. The vibes were amazing and pasta turned out to be SO delicious. I can’t wait to take another class.

Honestly, it was such a great experience. Chef Jami was super friendly and made everything feel easy and fun, even the parts I thought would be intimidating. Making the fettuccine by hand was really satisfying, and the Alfredo sauce was creamy and flavorful without being too heavy. It felt relaxed, hands-on, and the food tasted amazing in the end. I’d definitely do it again and would recommend it to anyone who loves good food or trying something new!!!!

An Absolute Must-Try Culinary Experience! I recently had the pleasure of attending a cooking class led by Chef Jami, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. We learned how to make Fettuccine Alfredo from scratch, and I was blown away by how Chef Jami simplified the process. She made a seemingly complex dish feel completely approachable. The setting at the winery was perfect—having the opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine before diving into the lesson made for a very relaxed and upscale atmosphere. The environment was welcoming, and the other participants were incredibly friendly. I walked away feeling so confident that I’m actually going to start making my own pasta at home now! If you're looking for a fun, professional, and delicious way to spend an afternoon, I cannot recommend Chef Jami enough. I will be signing up for other classes she will be having.
