Miranda has been cooking since the age of three, growing up in a family that valued cooking as a vital life skill. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Nutrition from Central Washington University. While in college, she launched her private chef company, Koto Ga Dekiru, which she has run for the past five years while also working with other chefs and restaurants to create memorable meals. Originally from Washington state, Miranda has lived on Maui with her mom’s family for the past five years. Her passion is cooking, and her mission is to nourish both body and soul through food. Through each class, she hopes to not only cook delicious dishes but also inspire a deeper connection to food and wellness.

Chef Miranda was very knowledgeable and kind. This is the first time I have successfully rolled sushi and now I know where I’ve gone wrong before.

I loved the experience overall! Miranda did a great job teaching and fielding questions! She’s an entertaining speaker and does well going with the flow. The sushi rolling/eating is towards the end so I recommend having a snack before hand if you have an evening class.

The class was excellent. Miranda kept the class engaged and is very knowledgeable. She was open to questions from the class and very supportive of all the members while we attempted to make the sushi. I would suggest this class to everyone.

My daughter and I had so much fun in this class! Chef Miranda focused on principles and prioritized the flow of the recipe, with so much encouraging energy that my daughter and I walked away thinking, "What a great value of information for the little time booked required for this recipe". Chef Miranda was articulate and succinctly explained the why behind the step in the process. I am now looking for more Chef Miranda classes. Keep it up Chef Miranda! You are very good at teaching!!
