Handmade Pasta with Classic Sauces

Description

Escape to the South of Italy for an evening to learn the art to creating the famous Orecchiette pasta! With a few simple ingredients, a little muscle and a lot of love, whip up these quirky pasta pieces named for their shape of resembling a small ear! Pair with two deliciously simple sauces and a glass of vino and you have a deliciously hearty meal to serve up for any occasion!

Pasta is a staple in Italian cuisine and has been since around for centuries. In this fun and interactive class, you will learn the tips and tricks on how to make classic Orecchiette pasta from scratch! Our Chef Instructor will take you through a detailed demonstration, before you will be guided step-by-step in replicating the process of making, folding, rolling, cutting and shaping your pasta dough. Our Chef Instructor will then demonstrate how to create two classic sauces; a Marinara sauce and Burnt Butter sauce. We source the freshest ingredients to let the flavours shine through in this simple yet impressive dish so you can ditch those gluey pre-packaged pasta and sauces for good!

No experience necessary! The only requirement is a fun attitude and a love of good food. We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive.
