Classic Handmade Pasta

Description

There’s nothing so delicious as fresh pasta, and creating it yourself.

In this fun and hands-on class, learn how to make the perfect plate of pasta by hand, without a mixer. The final dish will be served with a Pomodoro Soffritto. It's a quick and simple sauce that you will learn to make from scratch- using carrots, onions, and celery cooked into a tomato sauce. Come out and learn the basics to making delicious homemade pasta from an experienced chef instructor who spent time living in Umbria, where he learned how to make Italian dishes in the most authentic way.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive on time, wearing your mask. Guests are invited to BYOB wine, beer, or champagne. Though the chef highly recommends a nice Italian wine, like a Barolo! Please note that class will be hosted in Chef Sam's home with ample space to social distance booking parties from one another. Chef Sam is also maintaining a sanitized space, for your safety, as per CDC guidelines.
