Indian Saag Paneer with Garlic Naan

Description

In this complete hands-on class, you’ll learn the art of refining the perfect Indian Saag Paneer from scratch, served with some delicious Garlic Naan!

Saag Paneer is rich with unique flavors like spinach, yogurt, paneer (Indian cheese), ginger, garam masala, turmeric, and more! This authentic Indian dish is not only flavor packed, but holds an important place in Indian food culture. Chef Oliver will teach you how to make this dish from scratch. Students will sear the saag, create and blend the spinach sauce, garnish the dish and plate it up like a pro! Chef Oliver will serve store-bought, high quality Naan, but teach you how to turn it into a fragrant Garlic Naan-a tip you can easily recreate at home! You will walk away from this experience with a full belly, some newfound knife skills, and a better understanding of Indian food, flavors and history.

No experience is required! All equipment and ingredients will be provided. Our events are casual and meant to be fun, relaxing and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting.

Please note that class will be hosted in Chef Oliver's apartment with ample space to socially distance booking parties from one another. Chef Oliver is also maintaining a sanitized space, for your safety, as per CDC guidelines. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and get comfortable. Guests are welcome to BYOB.
