Beer Battered Fish & Chips

Description

Fish and Chips is a classic English pub meal, but it's also a beloved casual seafood dish across the U.S.!

In this hands-on class, join Chef Gill from his New Jersey kitchen, while he teaches you step-by-step how to make the perfect fried fish fillets, french fries, and homemade tartar sauce for serving. He will show you how to fry safely and successfully in your own kitchen, which is definitely a skill that will come in handy as you expand your in-home cooking adventures.

Invite your friends and family to join you for class so you can connect virtually and enjoy a fun evening of crafting a fun and delicious meal from scratch, together. No experience is required! You'll have the opportunity to interact with Chef Gill throughout the class and ask questions as you wish.

You will receive an email with the equipment and ingredients list. However, the main ingredients required to cook along with the chef in your own kitchen include: all purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, dark beer, sparkling water, fish fillets, potatoes, malt vinegar, relish or chopped pickles, mayonnaise, lemon, and vegetable oil.

Prepare your mis-en-place ahead of the session by measuring out your ingredients, grab a pint, and let’s get frying!

Tickets are on a per-person basis. Please note our class times are in Eastern Time Zone!
