Discover the flavor-packed world of dumplings!

Master the basics of dumpling wrapping in different shapes including triangular, half-moon, and pleated gyoza style. You’ll get a chance to work with high-quality store-bought dumpling wrappers. You’ll also get to practice your knife skills and learn how to make two different fillings of pork and vegetables. Find out about our favorite resources in Phoenix area for sourcing ingredients and basic equipment for dumpling making at home.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing). You will work with other students in groups of 2-4. 

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you’re part of a large group. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ only.

Meet your chef instructor
Falan is a Le Cordon Bleu trained chef, public speaker & author with 17 years experience in culinary arts. Her training started with 5 years in Europe favoring a specialization in entertainment cooking in front of live audiences. Falan was an NFL private chef and currently teaches cooking classes both online and in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Outside drinks are not allowed. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. 21+ only. Dietary requests cannot be accommodated for public events so please reference the dietary restrictions that are met by this class above.
Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

This was a great experience. My husband and I have taken a few cooking classes in the valley and this was one of the best. Falan was thorough and fun. She so easy to work with, she answered all our questions and gave great instruction. This was a very practical class that will allow us to put these skills to use at home. We can’t wait to use the recipe to make dumplings at home for our friends and family!!!
