Be transported to the whimsical patisseries of Paris as you learn how to create Choux Pastry.

In this memorable, hands-on class, you will learn the art of French Choux pastry. Choux has the reputation for being difficult, but it’s surprisingly simple! Chef Cregg will take you through a detailed demonstration, before you will be guided step-by-step in replicating how to make the perfect Choux dough, piping, baking and filling to create Chocolate Eclairs, Paris-Brest with Chocolate Orange Custard Filling and Herb and cheese Gouréges.

Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who is happier observing and assisting (or taste testing). You will work with others in your booking party, otherwise you will be socially distanced from other guests.

All guests will be required to show proof of full vaccination in order to participate in class. The Chef will provide disposable gloves and aprons for you to use during the class. Masks should be worn at all times except when eating or drinking. You will be seated with your booking party, otherwise social distancing guidelines will be in place. .

Chef Cregg is a southern California based Chef & food stylist with years of professional culinary experience. Chef Cregg has been featured in various Food Network competitions and along with commercial and television clients, he has also done extensive work in print and packaging for publications and companies he has been the principal food stylist for over 20+ cooks books in addition to working at Michelin star restaurants and 4 star hotels and bouquet catering companies in San Francisco.

Guest requirement
Feel free to BYOB! Please do not contact the LA Cooking School if you have questions regarding your class, please email hello@cocusocial.com with any assistance needed. Your Chef may have the classroom door closed upon arrival and will greet and allow entrance at class time. All guests will be required to show proof of full vaccination in order to participate in class. Your Chef Instructor will be checking vaccine cards and apps during check in. The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment.
Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 8 people. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.
