Feeling festive this Fall? Looking for a fun way to add a homemade dessert to your holiday table? Look no further! No holiday feast is complete until you have had a slice or two of your favorite pie so let us teach you how to bake the perfect one!

In this seasonal class, our experienced Pastry Chef Instructor will guide you step-by-step through the technical processes of perfecting the classic pie with its flaky crust and luscious fillings featuring the flavors of the season! Learn the skilled processes of balancing ingredients, pie-dough making, proofing and blind-baking. You will also have the choice of making one of two traditional festive fillings, classic Pumpkin or Maple Pecan. Our Pastry Chef Instructor will also enlighten you on other filling options that will translate to endless possibilities of pie creations! Once you have created your delicious masterpieces, you will then plate, decorate and devour your creations with your new found foodie friends! One bite and you will be wondering why you never made your own pumpkin pie at home! After taking this class, make sure to tell your guests to save room for dessert because they are going to want to sample your newly honed baking skills this Thanksgiving!

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, wearing your mask, especially if you’re part of a large group. Guests in the same booking party will sit and work together throughout the class. You will be socially distanced from other booking parties. However, please note that guests who choose to attend class alone may be asked to pair up with another single booking. Outside drinks are NOT allowed. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. 21+ only.

Meet your chef instructor
Chef Angelle was born in raised in New Orleans by both French and Italian families. Given her rich European heritage, she has always had a heart for delicious baked goods and family style cooking. Chef Angelle began her culinary journey with famous family restaurant group Del Posto, from which she became the Pastry Chef of the Sugar Factory. Climbing the culinary ranks, she now acts as the Executive Pastry Chef of Sweet Chick where she loves to create an array of indulgent desserts. Chef Angelle also enjoys sharing her culinary knowledge and passion for pastry through teaching children at Summer camps. Chef Angelle is known for her homemade, family-style desserts that will make any adult feel like a kid again!

Guest requirement
All guests will be required to show proof of full vaccination in order to participate in class. Your Chef Instructor will be checking vaccine cards and apps during check in. Guests are required to wear masks during class except when eating and drinking. Booking parties will be socially distanced from one another while eating. However, please note that guests who choose to attend class alone may be asked to pair up with another single booking. The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Outside drinks are NOT allowed. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. 21+ only.
Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.
