In this highly interactive and hands-on class, veteran CocuSocial Chef Instructor, Huong will enrich you with tips and tricks of making delicious sushi rolls, from preparing the perfect sushi rice, cutting the fresh ingredients properly, and the art of rolling. This casual and easy to follow class will surely engage all your senses! All participants will make three variations - Tuna Maki, Gunkan, and California Roll. You are invited to let your creativity flow and try rolling with seaweed both inside and out and mix and match seasonal produce and ingredients to develop your own unique edition. Vegetarian options are available - just let the chef know at the start of class!
This class is NOT BYOB! The hosting venue will provide a variety of drinks available for purchase. Bring your curiosity and appetite! Originally born and raised in Vietnam, Chef Huong spent eight years in the Philippines and five years in Thailand, where she honed her skills in South East Asian Cuisines. Inspired by her mother who used to be the Head Chef at the Embassies, Chef Huong continued to master her expertise not only in Asian cuisines but also Italian cuisine, and pastry art and cake decoration. She cannot wait to share her stories, recipes, and her passion with everyone!
