Join us for this fun and hands-on class where you’ll learn to make an Argentinian class: empanadas!
Chef Christi will demonstrate how to make puff pastry dough from scratch, which is the essential piece to bringing this recipe to life. Guests will have two recipe options to choose from: beef and veggie empanadas. Fillings will be made and prepared by the guests depending on their choice. Once the dough pockets are filled, they will be baked to crispy perfection. Topped with your freshly made Chimichurri sauce, you'll enjoy a little taste of Argentina in Atlanta.
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. You will be seated with your booking party. Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment. This class is BYOB! For those 21+, feel free to bring your favorite wine or beer to pair with your delicious and handmade meal.
