This class is super laid-back and easy to follow, so whether you’re a beginner or just want to learn a new skill, it’s a fun way to make some amazing sushi rolls. You’ll get to make three rolls of your own creation! You'll make a classic California roll, a Spicy Tuna roll, and a Crunchy Tempura Shrimp roll. No need for any prior sushi experience—just bring your love for food and be ready to have some fun!

Meet your chef instructor

Chef Mung came to the USA in 2016 and started high school. He learned and worked at a sushi bar every summer and weekend. He eventually started his own sushi bar in 2021 until recently.  He has trained culinary professionals who were interested in learning sushi, and most of them have gone on to start their own businesses such as sushi restaurants.  Chef Mung is a patient teacher and is open to any questions you have!

Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. 21+ only.  The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Dietary requests cannot be accommodated for public events so please reference the dietary restrictions that are met by this class above. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for parking and check in.

To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes.  Classes are intended for adults 18+

Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

Great class. Very knowledge and kind instructor (Mung). He gave clear instructions and encouragement. Would take a class with him again. As for logistics— All supplies provided. Created 3 rolls. If important to arrive early that should be emphasized (most folks arrived at start time). Also a reminder to bring own drink would be helpful.

Michael was an excellent teacher. Very nice, very thorough, and very accommodating. You can tell he is passionate about sushi and making sure you are learning it. The rolls were amazing and very filling! We highly recommend this class with Michael and look forward to learning more from him.
