No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you’re part of a large group. Guests in the same booking party will sit and work together throughout the class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Outside drinks are not allowed. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. 21+ only.
Meet Ness, your Chef Instructor for today’s class. Ness holds a Bachelor's degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, and has been passionate about baking for as long as they can remember.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Ness turned her home kitchen into a cookie business, raising funds for social justice causes. This venture combined creativity and purpose, and was a rewarding way to make a positive impact while sharing her love for baking.
Chef Ness has also been fortunate to gain invaluable experience in a few renowned kitchens. One standout opportunity was an eight-month internship at Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, Utah, a 4-Star fine dining resort. There, Ness expanded her skills in everything from bread baking and plated desserts to large-scale banquet service.
While Chef Ness loves all aspects of pastry, her true passion lies in experimenting with unique flavor pairings for classic desserts, developing new recipes, and perfecting the art of bread making. She is dedicated to helping others build confidence in the kitchen and develop their culinary skills. Chef Ness is excited to work with you today and help you grow your baking abilities!
