Perfect for beginners and sushi enthusiasts alike, this hands-on experience will teach you the foundations of sushi-making while exploring bold, creative flavor combinations inspired by contemporary fusion cuisine. With Chef Shaun’s step-by-step guidance, you’ll learn how to prepare perfectly seasoned sushi rice, master the art of rolling, and create restaurant-worthy presentations that are as beautiful as they are delicious.
What You'll Make:
You'll prepare three unique fusion-inspired sushi rolls, each designed to showcase a different combination of flavors, textures, and techniques.
You'll begin with the Teriyaki Glaze Roll, learning essential knife skills and rolling techniques as you combine tender teriyaki chicken, crisp cucumber, and pickled carrots, finished with toasted sesame seeds and a rich sweet soy drizzle. Next, you'll create the Honey Sriracha "Sweet & Heat" Roll, mastering the inside-out (uramaki) style while balancing spicy-sweet flavors with imitation crab, cucumber, avocado, and fresh scallions. Finally, you'll craft the colorful Garden Fusion Roll, featuring fresh seasonal vegetables and modern garnishes that highlight how vibrant and satisfying vegetarian sushi can be.
Along the way, Chef Shaun will cover sushi rice fundamentals, precision ingredient preparation, traditional and inside-out rolling methods, and plating techniques that elevate your creations from homemade to restaurant-quality.

Our classes are casual, approachable, and designed to be fun for everyone—whether you’re an enthusiastic cook or a first-timer looking to try something new. Your station will be fully prepped so you can focus on rolling, tasting, pairing, and enjoying the experience.

You will be seated with your booking party. Guests in the same booking will work together by sharing ingredients and equipment. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. Outside beverages are not permitted. 21+

The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Groups of 2 may be asked to share their station with another couple. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in so that class can begin on time.
