Join us for an immersive cooking experience where we delve into the exquisite world of Italian cuisine. In this hands-on class, you will learn the traditional techniques of crafting delicate Tagliatelle pasta from scratch. Our expert chef will guide you through the process of mixing, kneading, and rolling out the dough to achieve the perfect consistency for tagliatelle and will teach you the proper cooking techniques to achieve al dente perfection. While your pasta is resting, you will delve into the world of Tomato Basil Sauce. Using fresh tomatoes, Italian seasoning, garlic, and extra virgin olive oil, you will create a vibrant pomodoro sauce from scratch and discover the balance of flavors and textures that make pomodoro a beloved Italian classic.
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Chef Airon relocated from California to Chicago to refine his craft under some of the country’s most respected chefs. Classically trained with a diverse culinary background, he has developed a deep appreciation for global cuisines, including mastering multiple approaches to preparing Pad Thai—each rooted in tradition and respectful of the dish’s heritage.
Known for his approachable teaching style, Chef Airon focuses on simplifying techniques and emphasizing the “why” behind each step, rather than having students follow instructions without understanding. While his demeanor is lighthearted and engaging, he is deeply committed to ensuring his students leave with both the skills they came to learn and an enjoyable, memorable experience.
