Join Chef Candice in her LA kitchen for this highly interactive, hands-on class where you get to make a lovely ravioli dish from the dough, filling, and sauce from scratch in the comfort of your very own home kitchen. No need for a fancy pasta machine - it's time to roll up your sleeves and learn to make the pasta old-fashioned way, just like an Italian Nonna would!
In this virtual class, you will learn to make and knead the egg based pasta dough, then fill your ravioli with a classic ricotta filling, cook these pouches of yum to perfection, and finish off with Chef Candice's tried-and-true tomato based sauce. Chef Candice will walk you through step by step in real time, checking-in to make sure you are on the same page throughout the entire session. With this class, you will gain the basic knowledge of hand-rolled pasta and feel more confident to try making other types of pasta.
No experience is required! We will send you the equipment and ingredients list, which are easy to find and you may already have them in your home kitchen. If you don't have all ingredients, do not despair! Some ingredients can be easily substituted and our Chef will teach you how to make the most of what you already have on hand. Just make sure you have these essential ingredients ready: flour, eggs, garlic, olive oil, milk, ricotta cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, canned tomatoes, olive oil, oregano, parsley. You will have an opportunity to interact with the Chef and ask questions once you have created your dish.
