Handmade Samosa Two Ways with Fresh Chutney

Description

Do you like Asian dumplings? Then you will LOVE these Mediterranean inspired samosas made with two different fillings. Samosas come in many different variations and from many different backgrounds. They can be served as appetizer, snacks, or as a main meal accompanied with other side dishes. These delicious stuffed pastries are triangular in shape with a crispy crust and can be stuffed with almost anything! In this class, you will be making a Mediterranean inspired version - smaller in shape and stuffed with Mediterranean tasting spices. You will also learn how to make a cilantro mint sauce from scratch to dip these delicious samosas in! Roll up your sleeves and be ready to get your hands dirty!

In this memorable, hands-on class, you will step by step how to create two different fillings for delicious samosas: chicken and beef. You will then learn how to create the samosa dough and stuff and shape these pouches of yum. Accompanying the samosas will be fresh mint sauce, also made from scratch. Feel free to bring any container to take your leftover samosas home with you.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, wearing your mask.

We loved Chef Abrar! I booked this class as a surprise for my girlfriend and to our delight ended up getting a private lesson. She welcomed us into her home and even poured us some sparkling juice. Thanks to her, we know how to make some delicious samosas and a new way to dice onions. Can’t wait to book her again!
