Come and learn how to spread, layer, tuck and roll your way to sushi heaven. In this fun, hands-on social cooking class, you’ll learn all the skills needed to make sushi-rolls at home, including how to prepare sushi rice, select sushi-grade fish, and add additional tasty ingredients to enhance your dining experience. You’ll learn to make three different rolls featuring fresh sushi-grade tuna, avocado, cucumber, and other fresh ingredients. Whether it is with seaweed (nori) on the outside, inside, or wrapped around like a cone in a "hand-roll", you are in for a treat in this exclusive class.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you wish to recreate these at home after the class. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the culinary enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who is happier observing and assisting.

Chef Cole has been cooking for 20 years professionally and personally with styles reflecting many of the places he has lived and positions he has held in kitchens over the years. Cuban and Caribbean influences from growing up and cooking in Miami, BBQ and Italian cuisine in Richmond VA, gastro fare, pizza and mid western food in Chicago and more recently Asian, sushi and vegan fare here in Los Angeles.

Guest requirement
BYOB is not allowed. Drinks are available for purchase at the at the venue bar. The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment.
Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.
