Handmade Tortillas & Tacos Al Pastor

Description

Join this hands-on Tacos Al Pastor cooking class celebrating one of Mexico’s most iconic street foods. Guests will learn how to make fresh tortillas completely from scratch — mixing, pressing, and cooking them by hand for the perfect taco foundation.

The Chef will share the technique, assembly, and the traditional methods used to recreate the Al Pastor at home. Guests will be guided through the marinade process, seasoning, cooking approach, and tips for achieving authentic flavor in their own kitchens.

During the class, guests will also prepare fresh homemade salsa, learn balancing techniques for heat and acidity, and build tacos with traditional toppings and garnishes. Designed to be interactive, approachable, and full of flavor, this experience blends practical cooking skills with the warmth and energy of a shared meal.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you do not already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who is happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive 15 min early to check in and grab a drink. Outside drinks are not allowed and will be available to purchase at the venue. Classes are intended for adults 21+
