You don't have to travel to Chicago to get your fill of Deep Dish Pizza. Join us in this 2 hour hands-on class where you will learn to make deep dish pizza from scratch! - you will be warmly welcomed into Chef Cole's home to learn the tips and tricks of making pizza dough from scratch, kneading like a master, concocting delicious sauce, and finally cooking to perfection. Chef Cole will also share his advice on how to recreate a similar effect in your own home kitchen if you do not own a professional pizza oven.

You will be making a Homemade Deep Dish Pomodoro Pizza.

In this fun and interactive class you will learn how to master the impressive skill of making pizza from scratch. Our Chef Instructor will take you through a detailed demonstration, before you will be guided step-by-step in replicating how to make a scratch dough, how to choose the right flour, basic kneading techniques and how to achieve that perfect pie crust.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Find out about our favorite resources in Los Angeles for sourcing ingredients and basic equipment for recreating the menu at home. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting.

BYOB is welcome. Guests are invited to bring their own wine, beer, or champagne.

Chef Cole has been cooking for 20 years professionally and personally with styles reflecting many of the places he has lived and positions he has held in kitchens over the years. Cuban and Caribbean influences from growing up and cooking in Miami, BBQ and Italian cuisine in Richmond VA, gastro fare, pizza and mid western food in Chicago and more recently Asian, sushi and vegan fare here in Los Angeles.

This class is BYOB! The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment.
Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

We had the best time at our Deep Dish Pizza experience with Chef Cole. He was a great teacher and made the whole experience fun and easy. He is very knowledgeable and I feel we learned a lot from this experience. I would highly recommend any of his classes if you are looking for a fun and educational culinary experience with your friends. We will definitely make our own deep-dish pizza in the future; this recipe was simple yet absolutely delicious. This also makes for a great gift for others. Do not miss out!

Chef Cole was very communicative from the get-go. We had to reschedule our original class but he was very apologetic and flexible with the reschedule. I loved how hands-on and small this class was. We got to make our own dough, make pesto from scratch, and see the pizza through the baking process till it was done. Thanks, Chef Cole!
