Join us for a night in Rome as you uncover the secrets to creating the perfect Cacio e Pepe. This iconic Roman dish- whose name translates to “cheese and pepper”- celebrates simplicity at its finest, combining freshly grated pecorino romano, black pepper, and handmade pasta.
In this fun, hands-on class, you’ll be guided step by step through essential knife skills and the art of making pasta dough from scratch. You’ll also learn how to create a silky Cacio e Pepe sauce that brings the dish together beautifully. Once your masterpiece is complete, you’ll plate, garnish, and enjoy your creation alongside fellow food lovers in a lively, social setting.
Along the way, you’ll gain insight into sourcing fresh, seasonal ingredients and specialty items- so you can recreate the perfect Italian-inspired date night at home.
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you do not already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who is happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes. Classes are intended for adults 18+. Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price, however guests 21+ are invited to BYOB (beer, wine, and champagne only).
