Japanese Ramen

Description

Escape to the streets of Tokyo as we create this infamous classic dish, Japanese Ramen! This class is perfect for anyone who enjoys Asian flavors and wants to learn more about how to recreate these flavors and techniques at home! Due to limited seating, this class can only accept bookings of 2 or more. If you are booking your class as a group, please make the reservation under one name as a full booking group.

In this fun, hands-on class, you will be guided step-by-step in creating Tan Tan Ramen with ground beef, renowned for its rich and spicy broth, abundance of noodles and endless toppings! Your chef instructor will teach you how to create the perfect balance of flavors while making your tare (blend of Japanese seasonings) and preparing your Dashi (savory, umami-rich stock). You'll also learn how to cook your noodles to perfection and artfully build your bowl to your liking to enjoy with your new found foodie friends!

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you’re part of a large group. Guests will work in groups throughout the class, sharing equipment and ingredients. Outside drinks are not allowed. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. 21+ only.
