Handmade Ricotta Gnocchi

Description

With a few simple ingredients, a little muscle and a lot of love, whip up homemade pillow-soft dumplings just like Nonna!

In this fun, hands-on and interactive class, you will learn the tips and tricks of how to make a dough from scratch, using ricotta cheese as the base. Your chef instructor will demonstrate how to make a creamy tomato sage sauce to enjoy with your gnocchi.

During this class you will learn the techniques for gnocchi dough preparation, sweating onions and garlic, reducing liquids over heat, and much more!

We source the freshest ingredients to let the flavors shine through in this versatile recipe. Everyone will sit down and enjoy their gnocchi dish at the end of class. Feel free to BYOB to enjoy throughout the class! The venue has a cute outdoor patio with additional seating to enjoy your meal and drinks (weather permitting).

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

You will be working with your booking party. Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Guests are invited to BYOB beer, wine, or champagne.

Excellent time Chef Jason is clear concise and fun. He’s also considerate of others asking if we needed time , had any allergies , or objections to ingredients. We had a great time would recommend other classes taught by Chef Jason. Total professional in every sense of the word. Looking forward to trying this now at home.

Such a fun class! Chef Jason was awesome! He took us through all the steps at a comfortable pace. He was very knowledgeable, personable and patient. One of the best parts of the class was getting our very own dishes of our handmade Gnocchi. I can honestly say that I now feel confident enough to make my own Gnocchi at home. I would definitely take another class with Chef Jason. Thanks again!

No comments, it was great! Chef Jason made everything so accessible and fun. I really appreciated how he took the time to teach us some practical cooking information like the difference between sautéing and sweating, when to season, how to cook with wine, etc. Thanks for the great experience! My friend and I had so much fun and even made some new friends.
