Join Chef Patrick for a hands-on pasta-making experience and discover the art of ricotta gnocchi, a lighter, more delicate alternative to traditional potato gnocchi. You'll learn how to create a simple dough using creamy ricotta, Parmesan, fresh herbs, egg, and flour, before mastering the techniques of rolling, cutting, and shaping perfectly tender gnocchi. Chef Patrick will guide you through each step, sharing tips on achieving the ideal texture and recreating this Italian favourite at home.
Once your gnocchi is ready, you'll cook and finish it with a delicious brown butter, sage, and Parmesan sauce that lets the fresh ingredients shine. Chef Patrick will also demonstrate how to pair your handmade gnocchi with different sauces and seasonal ingredients. To finish on a sweet note, you'll enjoy a live demonstration of Zabaione- a classic Italian dessert made with whipped egg yolks, sugar, creating a light, silky custard. You'll leave with new culinary skills and plenty of inspiration for your next Italian dinner!
