Neapolitan Pizza Party

Description

Be transported to the streets of Napoli as you learn how to master the art of Pizza making in your very own kitchen!

In this fun and interactive virtual class you will learn how to master the impressive skill of making pizza from scratch. Chef Duane will guide you step-by-step in replicating how to make a quick rising pizza dough, choose the right flour, properly knead your dough for the the right amount of rise, and how to most importantly achieve the perfect crust. Next, you will learn how to make the perfect marinara sauce to use as the base for your pizza.

Next, channel your inner Picasso as you create Naples' most iconic pizza, the Neapolitan! To make sure you and your family get their veggies in for the day, Chef Duane will teach you how to make a classic Caesar Salad from start to finish. This includes your own homemade croutons and dressing, as well! You'll never want to buy them from the grocery store again.

No experience is required! You will receive an email with the equipment and ingredients list required to cook along with the chef. Most ingredients can also be easily substituted with what you have on hand. However, here's a list of the main ingredients you'll want to consider having with you: Flour, Dry Active Yeast, Sea Salt, Ground Pepper, Red Pepper Flakes, Fresh Basil, Fresh Oregano, Dried Parsley, Olive Oil, Tomatoes, Sugar, Garlic, Granulated Onion, Onion Powder, Tomatoes, Fresh Mozzarella, Parmesan Cheese, 5 slices of bread, Mayonnaise, Anchovies, Dijon Mustard, Lemon Juice, Worcestershire Sauce, Red Wine Vinegar, and Heavy Cream.

Great, fun and busy class. Mixer will definitely make it easier. I kneaded the dough by hand for 20 minutes because I didn’t have one, and then let it rest. It was delicious. Everything was pretty simple to make and delicious, especially the salad dressing. Pizza screen is needed and helpful. Duane was a wonderful Instructor. Recommend.

Duane is obviously a talented and experienced chef, as well as a great teacher. His recipes are absolutely delicious. The no-cook marinara sauce was so easy to prepare and the Caesar dressing may just be the best I've ever tasted. Those two recipes will become staples in our kitchen! My only criticism (hopefully constructive) is that the class should be longer so we wouldn't have to be in such a hurry. It was difficult to watch his demonstrations and work at the same time.

The class was fun, offered great instruction that allowed me to easily follow along and resulted in a delicious neopolitan pizza to eat. After many failed attempts at making pizza at home following just the recipe, this class provided a better recipe and the ability to have my questions answered along the way, set me up to successfully/ finally make a delicious pizza at home. Thank you!
