Learn the tips and tricks from a professional sushi chef in this highly interactive and hands-on class, You will learn to prepare the perfect sushi rice, select the fresh ingredients properly, and the art of rolling. This casual and easy to follow class will surely engage all your senses! All participants will make three variations - Tuna, Salmon, and California Roll.

All you need to bring to this class is your curiosity and appetite! You can be confident this class will be an absolute delight whether the occasion is for a family activity, team building event, or surprising your partner on a romantic date night. BYOB is welcome.

To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes. Classes are intended for adults 18+.

Chef Hiro is an Executive and professional Japanese Sushi Chef. He is also experienced in many international cuisines, working in multiple restaurants in Japan and California, as well as owning his own catering company.

Guest requirement
BYOB is allowed. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for parking and check in. The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. This class is held in a professional kitchen where standing for extended periods of time may be required. To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes. Classes are intended for adults 18+.
Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

Class was relocated multiple times. New location was difficult to find, crampped and had no A/C so the room was very warm. Teacher was good and the food was very thought out. Would attend another but hesitant to book.

I really enjoyed making the sushi! It was fun to get to experiment with all the different ways to make rolls. One thing that could have been better is if we didn’t have to stand for 2 hrs in an 85 degree kitchen while making it. Other than not having chairs or our own cooking stations (we had to share) it was a good time!

Chef Hiro was amazing. He shared his knowledge and experiences in the culinary industry. The class was informative and very hands on. Chef offered feedback and answered all our questions. Very positive and fun experience. We are definitely interested in taking his dumpling class.

Such a fun class. Chef Hiro is funny and knowledgeable about sushi making. He adds a lot of history of the process and is open about where the ingredients are sourced. He made for such an enjoyable night, probably the best cooking class I’ve taken so far. We got to make 3 types of rolls, and you can eat them as you go. Everything was delicious! I would highly recommend this to all my friends!

We just finished the Sushi making class with Chef Hiro, and he was our hero! He taught us not only the basics, ingredients, and techniques behind Sushi making, but he also gave us the knowledge of the true meaning and history behind it. It was truly an exceptional learning experience and we hope to take a class with him again!

Such a super fun and easy class! Chef Hiro made the class enjoyable with a bit of sushi trivia and stories of sushi from other countries. The class was easy to follow along and ended with tasty results!
