Wine Tasting 101

Join us for this unique Wine Tasting 101 experience where you will be guided through curated tastings that will not only expand your wine knowledge but also awaken and calibrate your palate as you embark on this life long adventure with wine!

Whether you consider yourself a self-proclaimed wine aficionado, or just have a general love and appreciation for it, you will be sure to leave this class on a good note! Guided by our expert Sommelier, you shall have the opportunity to taste and contrast a variety of different wines.  There will be offerings from such favorites as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Rose, Pinot Noir, and Merlot.

From learning how to speak like a Sommelier to discovering the world of wines, you will be enlightened on the differences in history, wine regions, tasting techniques, flavor profiles, grape characteristics, pairings, and everyday practical wine tips.


No experience is required! We provide all the wine, equipment, and materials.  Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you’re part of a large group. 21+ only.

Zoya is a Certified specialist of Wine (CSW) and a veteran in the wine industry. Her passion is to make wine make more accessible to wine drinkers. Zoya also is the founder of the Wine Collective Scottsdale. Melly is a Level 2 Sommelier, she has worked behind scene harvesting in Napa Valley and Willcox AZ. Melly is a wine educator and manager at The Wine Collective Scottsdale.

Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ only.

Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.
