If you are a pasta lover, you will LOVE this class. Learning to make the original, authentic Asian style noodles all from scratch will give you a refreshing take on your usual pasta repertoire. Tossed in flavorful ground pork and peanut sauce, this slurpy noodles will bring you joy and comfort and leave you with happy, full belly. For extra special touch, you will also make chili oil from scratch.

In this fun and hands-on class, you will be guided step-by-step in creating the noodle dough, kneading, and transforming them into noodles. You will learn the basic knife skills, how to make delicious ground pork and peanut based sauce to dress your noodles with. Once you have created your dish, you will then plate, garnish and devour your creations with your fellow foodies joining you for this delicious virtual cooking party!

No experience is required! We will send you the equipment and ingredients list, which are easy to find and you may already have them in your home kitchen. Just make sure you have most of these essential ingredients: bread flour, oil, salt, peanut butter, soy sauce, sugar, ground meat (pork, chicken, etc. or you can replace with tofu for vegetarian option), garlic, ginger, Chinese cooking wine (such as shaoxing), chili powder or flakes, cinnamon stick, bay leaves, star anise. You will have an opportunity to interact with the Chef and ask questions throughout the session.

Chef Annria's love of cuisines of the world stems from growing up in South Africa, a melting pot of diverse cultures. After she moved to the U.S., she continued her love of world cuisines - both in cooking and teaching. Chef Annria was trained in the classic French style, however her interests are far and wide. There is not a cuisine she has come across that she did not like - well...perhaps offal, her grandfather's specialty!

We will be sending you a list of ingredients and equipment you would need for this class. We don't want anyone falling behind so please make sure you have your ingredients and equipment prepared, measured, and ready so that you can cook along with our Chef in real time! Some ingredients may require you to prepare before the session begins. A Zoom link will also be shared with you upon registration.

Huong was incredibly patient and helpful! When needed, she took the time to check in with each participant and really helped us each feel included. Even with some mis-matched ingredients (grocery shopping is hard right now!) she helped me to understand how to make a DELICIOUS meal!
