Meet your chef instructor

Chef Omar an Executive Chef with over two decades in the food and beverage industry, specializes in Mexican and International cuisine while maintaining a deep respect for quality ingredients, especially seafood. His passion for cooking began in childhood, cooking alongside his father on weekends while admiring his mother’s exceptional culinary skills. That blend of tradition and technique is reflected in his teaching style today: practical, friendly, and confidence building. Chef Omar loves witnessing the expression on his students’ faces when they complete a dish they once thought impossible. He always shares a philosophy that defines him: “Things must be done right, with a good attitude, and the first time.”
