Secret Italian Family Recipes: Tuscan Stew with Candied Biscotti Cookies

Description
Seems every family has secret recipes. A dish that only you, your siblings, mother and grandmother ever knew about. It’s a flavor so hard to explain, but yet so familiar and comforting you wish you could share it with the world. />
In this class, we will aim to reveal Chef Paladini’s Italian family recipe that is sure to create your own special memories! It’s time to reveal the secret of “Stufato di Granchio”, a rich and savory crab leg stew made with a ton of garlic, parsley, tomato and red wine. For dessert, perfect candied orange biscotti cookies from scratch! There’s a reason this sounds insanely good – because it is! Homemade crispy, crunchy, twice baked biscotti cookies. Learn to make your own and enjoy them anytime – even for breakfast! These recipes hail from the small but charming town of Lucca on the West coast end of the Tuscan region in Italy. The town is a stones throw from the Italian riviera, famous for the cliffs that dive into the clear blue Mediterranean Sea and is highly recognized for its prized shellfish and specifically crab! The family’s dish highlights this by using crab legs in a marvelous tomato stew eaten with toasted bread dipped in rosemary scented red wine! The secret is out! You won’t find these recipes anywhere online. You’ll have to become “one of the family” to get them!

*The ticket is on per person basis* No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets in case you wish to recreate the dish on your own after the class. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, wearing your mask.
