All participants will make three variations - A Spicy Tuna Temaki Roll, A  California Roll and A Futomaki Vegetarian Roll.

All you need to bring to this class is your curiosity and appetite! You can be confident this class will be an absolute delight whether the occasion is for a family activity, team building event, or surprising your partner on a romantic date night. This class is BYOB! Bring your favorite Sake, wine or beer to pair with your delicious and handmade meal.

Chef Nader is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the culinary industry. Chef Nader's has a long list of accomplishments that include success as an Executive Chef, Culinary Instructor and Restaurant owner.

SHARED is the most unique coworking space in San Francisco, located in the heart of SoMa. SHARED is a space for creative people to work and collaborate together
Guest requirement

This class is BYOB!  The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Dietary requests cannot be accommodated for public events so please reference the dietary restrictions that are met by this class above. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for parking and check in. Shared SF street parking in the evenings and weekends is easily available. There is also a paid parking lot on Oak Grove (an alley across the street from SHARED) for $8/day. SHARED is five blocks from Powell Montgomery Bart and three blocks from CalTrain.


To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes.  Classes are intended for adults 18+

Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

My boyfriend and I signed up for this class as a fun date day activity, and we had an amazing time! Neither of us had made sushi before, although we both love eating it. This class exceeded our expectations, and we’d absolutely recommend it to anyone. Chef Nader truly made the experience special—he’s an incredible teacher who blends humor into his lessons and takes time to answer all your questions. What stood out to me most was his focus on traditional techniques, teaching us the right way rather than modern shortcuts. For instance, he showed us how to layer sushi rice properly, explaining that less is more—unlike many places today that overload the rolls with rice and skimp on the fish. Chef Nader’s calm and friendly demeanor made the step-by-step instructions easy to follow. We each made three rolls and got to enjoy them afterward—they were absolutely delicious! I walked away with a full, happy stomach and a lot of new knowledge. I’m so excited to try making sushi at home now. Huge thanks to Chef Nader!

An excellent experience! Chef Nader was a great teacher - walking us through the steps to make sushi a then allowing us to get hands on practice. The best part: eating our end results! Would definitely go again to another class like this.
