Add the crunchy coleslaw, and you're golden. Are we drooling yet? Once you learn how to pull together a meal with fried chicken as a main star of the show with classic sides to round it out, you will never want to go back to drive-through or takeout fast food options.

In this fun and hands-on class, you will be guided step-by-step in preparing a fried chicken meal with classic, crowd-pleasing sides. You will learn basic knife skills, how to properly handle the meat and create flavorful batter for the chicken and fry to its golden perfection! Accompanying the main dish will be buttermilk biscuits warm and fresh out of the oven with scratch made honey butter and refreshing coleslaw to add in vegetable goodness. Once you have created your masterpiece, you will then plate, garnish and devour your creations with your fellow foodies joining you for this delicious virtual cooking party!

No experience is required! We will send you the full equipment and ingredients list, which are easy to find and you may already have them in your home kitchen. Just make sure you have most of these essential ingredients: chicken wings, all purpose flour, corn starch, buttermilk, mayonnaise, cabbage (green and red), carrots, vinegar, lemon juice, sugar, butter, honey, oil for frying, baking powder, salt & pepper. You will have an opportunity to interact with the Chef and ask questions throughout the session.

We will be sending you a list of ingredients and equipment you would need for this class. We don't want anyone falling behind so please make sure you have your ingredients and equipment prepared, measured, and ready so that you can cook along with our Chef in real time! A Zoom link will also be shared with you upon registration.

The food was delicious! The pace was a little too fast and my husband tapped out because of it. With men and women doing a class together it might help to slow the pace down a little. Men get confused...He he he...just kidding. It was great, except for my husband freaking out a little bit.

This class was such a fun experience! My husband got super into it as well, what a great date night! I’ve attempted fried chicken in the past, but this was easily the best I’ve ever attempted. The biscuits are now on our regular list of favorites recipes! And while neither of us are huge coleslaw fans, this coleslaw was delicious! Fresh and not just covered in Mayo. Thank you Chef Candice for this wonderful experience! We can’t wait to take more classes!
