Master the art of French macarons!
Join Chef Dobbie for a fun, interactive workshop where you’ll learn to craft elegant French macarons with crisp, delicate shells and luscious seasonal fillings. From whipping a perfect meringue to mastering macaronage and piping precise rounds, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to recreate these beautiful treats at home.
What You’ll Make:
You’ll prepare a batch of classic almond French macarons and fill them with fresh, fruit-forward flavors like raspberry buttercream and blueberry jam. Chef Dobbie is a culinary school graduate trained in Chicago, with years of experience as both a private chef and cooking instructor. Her passion for food goes far beyond simply feeding people—she sees cooking as a love language, a path to self-discovery, and even a form of therapy. Whether preparing a meal or guiding others through the process, Dobbie finds deep joy in sharing the kitchen. She thrives on connecting with people, listening to their stories, and building community through food. Each class she leads is an opportunity to learn from one another, share laughter, and celebrate the art of cooking from scratch.
The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment.
