In this complete hands-on class, you’ll learn how to create delicious Vegetarian Chinese Dumplings. Our expert Chef Instructor will guide you step-by-step through refining your knife skills, making two different dumpling fillings, and learning the art of folding wonton wrappers into various traditional shapes.
You will be given the choice to concoct your own filling recipes from a display of seasonal ingredients or you can follow your chef's recipes for tofu and mushroom based fillings. After folding and pan searing your veggie dumplings you will learn to make a chili garlic dipping sauce from scratch. Then sit down and enjoy your meal, which will taste so much better knowing that you created it by hand using the most authentic ingredients and techniques.
No experience is required! All equipment and ingredients will be provided. Our events are casual and meant to be fun, relaxing and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting.
Please note that class will be hosted in Chef Raina's home. Chef Raina is also maintaining a sanitized space, for your safety, as per CDC guidelines. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and get comfortable. Outside drinks are not allowed, but water will be provided.
