Valentine's Day Gnocchi Workshop

Description

With a few simple ingredients, a little muscle and a lot of love, whip up home-made pillow-soft dumplings just like Nonna! Pair with a delicious bolognese sauce and a glass of vino and you have a deliciously hearty meal to serve up for any occasion!

In this fun and interactive class, you will learn the tips and tricks on how to make the classic potato dough recipe from scratch. You will learn to make two types of gnocchi (Herb Gnocchi with Brown Butter & Spinach Gnocchi), as well as Soft Polenta. Enjoy your gnocchi and polenta with a bolognese sauce that Chef Gill will also teach you how to make from scratch.

We source the freshest ingredients to let the flavours shine through in these versatile recipes.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive on time, wearing your mask. Guests are invited to BYOB wine, beer, or champagne. Though we highly recommend a nice Italian wine! Please note that class will be hosted in Chef Gill's home with ample space to social distance booking parties from one another. Chef Gill is also maintaining a sanitized space, for your safety, as per CDC guidelines.
