Handmade Mozzarella and Burrata

Description

Calling all Cheese Lovers, Turophiles and Ferment Fanatics! Join us for two memorable hours as we get seriously cheesy making Mozzarella and Burrata from scratch!

In this hands-on crash course, our professional Chef Instructor and Chef Instructor will guide you step-by-step in creating smooth, milky Mozzarella and Burrata cheese from curd. We will begin by enlightening you on the process of coagulation and how milk turns from fluid to firm curds. You will then roll up our sleeves and turn curds into the beautiful balls of cheese. You will be educated on selecting the right curd, achieving the proper water temperature and salt ratio, and how to perfect the pull/fold method of creating cheese. You will then be guided in how to create the perfect, most insta-worthy cheese boards perfect for entertaining, using popular seasonal accompaniments. Given that our Chef Instructor is also a Sommelier, you will be provided some insight into the perfect wine pairings for you new cheeses. You will end your cheesy adventure by sampling your cheesy creations made right in front of you with seasonal accompaniments along with your new found foodie friends!

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you’re part of a large group. 21+ only.
