These juicy and plump morsels filled with hearty ingredients such as ground meat, vegetables and classic seasoning such as soy sauce and sesame oil wrapped in fun shapes and folds will bring such joy as soon as you take a big bite. This class is hands-on, yet casual and easy going, making it a perfect occasion for a romantic date night or a fun outing with your family and friends!

Master the basics of dumpling wrapping in various different shapes. You’ll get a chance to work with high-quality store-bought dumpling wrappers. You’ll be learning valuable knife skills and learn how to create your own fillings from scratch.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing). You will work with others in your booking party, otherwise you will be socially distanced from other guests. 

Please arrive 15 min early to check in and settle in, wearing your mask. Chef will provide disposable gloves and aprons for you to use during the class. Masks should be worn at all times except when dining and gloves and aprons will be provided. You will be seated with your party, otherwise social distancing guidelines will be in place. Guests are invited to BYOB (beer, wine, or champagne).

Meet your chef instructor
Chef Davis trained in classical French cooking but her world travels have expanded her knowledge of international cuisine, ingredients and techniques. After earning her culinary diploma at Le Cordon Bleu, Davis spent years as the recipe tester at the Los Angeles Times, working with the recipes of (and sometimes alongside) world-famous chefs like Marcus Samuelson, Nancy Silverton, and Anthony Bourdain. Afterward, Davis went on to instruct guests onboard Holland America Lines’ cruise ships as an official teacher of America’s Test Kitchen, the renowned PBS cooking show. While traveling the world, Davis had the opportunity to study under chefs in Asia, Europe, South America, and the Caribbean. Once she returned to shore, Davis served as co-buyer and catering manager for a well-known international gourmet market in L.A. Now, she has returned to her first love—teaching. Culinary writing, food-styling, catering, and sourcing organic, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients round out Davis’ years of experience in the field.

Guest requirement
All guests will be required to show proof of full vaccination in order to participate in class. Your Chef Instructor will be checking vaccine cards and apps during check in. All guests are required to wear masks during class, except when eating and drinking. As a result, booking parties will be socially distanced from one another while eating. The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Guests are invited to BYOB (beer, wine, or champagne).
Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.
